Privacy Policy

DayLoad · Last updated: June 2026

Short version: DayLoad stores all your data locally on your device only. We collect no personal information, use no analytics, show no ads, and make no network requests. If you grant calendar access, your events are read on-device and never leave it.

1. Who we are

DayLoad is an iOS app developed by Ben Dam, reachable at support.yourapp@gmail.com. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

2. Data we collect — none

DayLoad does not collect, transmit, store externally, or share any personal data. All tasks, habits, and settings you create are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

3. Apple Calendar access (optional)

If you choose to enable Apple Calendar integration in the app's Settings, DayLoad requests read-only access to your calendar events via Apple's EventKit framework. This access is used solely to display your existing events within the app and to include their duration in the day's load calculation.

4. Local storage

All app data (tasks, habits, logs, preferences) is stored locally on your device via SwiftData / Core Data. This data is included in iOS device backups (iCloud Backup or local iTunes/Finder backup) if you have backups enabled — this is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

5. Children's privacy

DayLoad does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, COPPA does not impose additional obligations on this app.

6. GDPR (EU users)

Because DayLoad collects no personal data, processes no data on external servers, and performs no profiling or tracking, there is no personal data processing subject to the GDPR. No consent banner or Data Processing Agreement is required for this app.

If you are an EU resident and have questions, contact us at support.yourapp@gmail.com.

7. Your rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control:

8. Changes to this policy

If the app ever adds features that involve data collection, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will change. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
